1.Let's make the famous Greek pie with local woman
A tasty and healthy snack for any time during the day
We will teach you how to make the famous greens pie (chortopita or spanakopita ) with traditional homemade phyllo dough, fill it with fresh vegetables and herbs from our farm, and bake in the oven.
Steaming and sweet-smelling, we'll enjoy it with Greek salad and wine.

2. Let's drink tsipouro or ouzo
(Greek local drink) with snacks on the side!
We’ll show you recipes of the most delicious traditional Greek dips (meze) to accompany your drink.
We make together aubergine salad (melitzanosalata), tzatziki and spicy cheese spread (tirokafteri). Served in small plates, go perfectly with our national spirits, ouzo and tsipouro.Ya mas! (Which means ‘Cheers?')

3. Sweet treats from Greece
The sweet taste of gold
We will teach you how to make the ideal fried Greek donuts with honey and walnuts -loukoumades (crispy on the outside and soft on the inside), and halvah (semolina pudding with raisins).
We will also enjoy the virtues of honey and olive oil as desserts next to a cup of aromatic pot boiled Greek coffee, mountain tea and herbs or a glass of sweet wine.

4. Discovering the secrets of Mt Pelion olive oil
Olive oil testing
Several types of extra virgin olive oil, accompanied by tasty snacks, will be tested at our farm.
Optionally, a visit (guided tour) at the museum of olive oil in Katichori village.

5. Thessalia in your glass
Allow us to introduce you to our great (vin de coteaux) wines from the mountains of Thessalia.
Food and wine testing guided by sommelier at our farm will involve various Thessalian wines, accompanied by local cheeses.
«Milea Estate» by Lazaros Karipidis in Argalasti village is another optional destination for a visit (guided tour).

6. We cook lathera (Ladera)
A whole category of Greek recipes where vegetables are cooked in olive oil and tomato along with herbs.
A true feast of colours and tastes!
We will show you how to cook vegetables with herbs from our fertile land (thyme, oregano, rosemary, bay leaves) lemon and olive oil.
A choice of five dishes:
- Stuffed tomatoes and peppers (Gemista)
- Stuffed vine leaves (Dolmathakia)
- Handpicked mountain greens sauté with fried eggs (Avga me chorta)
- Oven baked vegetables (Briam)
- Green Beans-Fasolakia (Fasolakia)
We set the table and serve it with Greek salad and strapatsada - Greek omelette (local eggs, scrambled with fresh tomato and olive oil).
Combine it with a glass of white wine to reach an exquisite level of taste. Finish with dessert,Greek yoghurt with honey and walnuts.

7. Traditional Greek cooking with meat in casserole
Locally produced meats and home-grown vegetables in traditional Greek recipes
Choose one of the following:
- Greek sausage and peppers (Spetzofai)
- Stuffed courgettes with minced meat in egg- lemon sauce
- (Kolokithakia gemista avgolemeno )
- Chicken or lamb with orzo pasta (Giouvetsi)
- Meatball Soup (Giouvarlakia/ Youvarlakia) in egg-lemon sauce
- Fried meatballs (Keftedakia)
- Greek beef stew (Beef stifado)
And the most famous Greek dish, is a succulent casserole made of eggplants,minced meat topped with béchamel sauce (Moussaka)
We'll set the table and accompany it with Greek salad or zucchini salad with feta cheese and herbs and small cheese pies (Tyropitakia).
Combine it with a glass of white wine to reach an exquisite level of taste. Finish with dessert, Greek yoghurt with honey and walnuts.

8. Knead and bake crusty country bread in the wooden oven
(Horiatiko Psomi)
We will show you how to make bread (Psomi), cheese bread (Tyropsomo), olive bread (Eliopsomo) and garlic bread (Skordopsomo). We use feta cheese, peppermint, sage, olives, garlic, oregano and olive oil.
Nothing compares to the taste of warm oven-baked bread next to a cup of handpicked mountain tea and herbs.

9. Traditional pelion's home-made sweets
The secrets of jams and fruit preserves (Glyka tou koutaliou- spoon sweets)
We will gather fruit and vegetables from our farm and prepare traditional jams and preserves from fruits, seasonal products using traditional techniques.
Enjoy them with Greek coffee, mountain tea or combine them with yoghurt or ice cream.

10. The little farmers and small cooks in the kitchen
Let’s cook and have fun with children!
We’ll gather vegetables and herbs from our garden, eggs from our chichen coop and we’ll make fresh salad, small cheese pies and tzatziki.
We’ll also enjoy a glass of apple and pomegranate juice.
